Newcastle Racecourse has implemented a new initiative to sign up and engage with the younger generation, enticing them to always consider the Races as an exciting and fun day out. The Ascot VIP Loyalty Program was launched in July and since installing the SENPOS Members Kiosk in August, they have signed up hundreds of new members.
Race-goers simply sign up at the Kiosk and their new membership card immediately prints out at the bar. By swiping the card upon making a purchase in the Ascot Bar and other selected venues, punters receive reward points which can be saved up and spent.
Matt Benson, CEO of the Newcastle Jockey Club says “The Kiosks presents a modern option for younger people to be able to engage with us. The younger generation prefer to deal with a screen, so the benefit of the Kiosk is that it engages with them and they feel very comfortable putting their information into the system and joining up to our Ascot VIP Loyalty Program.”
