Our team headed to the beautiful shores of Lake Jindabyne last week to facilitate a brand new installation of seven terminals and a Members Kiosk at the primly positioned Jindabyne Bowling and Sports Club overlooking the famous lake at the gateway to the Snowy Mountains.

The club offers a range of sports facilities, including bowling, tennis & squash, and is a popular meeting spot for locals and visitors looking for a relaxed yet fun atmosphere to enjoy a meal and a few drinks.

Club General Manager John Riordan (pictured) was looking to upgrade the club’s outdated POS system and centralise many aspects of the club’s operations through the new system. The aim was to improve workflow efficiencies and achieve more effective promotions and marketing to members and visitors.

SENPOS was a right fit because of what it offered explicitly for club operations, which the previous system lacked. A flexible promotions module and member loyalty program mean the club will have a greater capacity to reach members and visitors and encourage repeat visits. Their new Members Loyalty Kiosk allows members to sign in, check their points balance and print vouchers independently of a receptionist or till operator. They also have games running on the kiosk to create some excitement for members who try their luck at winning a prize!

Included in the all-in-one solution was SENPOS’ Visual Content application allowing the club to advertise promotions & club activities and run raffles on the big screens throughout the venue, all of which are easily managed from the back of house software. The team at Jindabyne are learning a lot about improving operational efficiencies through the SENPOS system with ongoing assistance from our SENPOS Support & Training team. They are certainly looking forward to undertaking a stocktake next month with the SENPOS Roam device, a big step up from their former manual process.
