Our SENPOS Support and Implementation Technicians play an important role in helping customers transition to SENPOS and receive invaluable support. In just over a year since joining SENPOS, Nick Pearson from our Implementation Team has helped new and existing customers, whilst learning a lot along the way. We recently sat down with him to reflect on his journey so far.
How did you get into this line of work?
“I’ve always been interested in IT and tech, and have experience in other roles that gave me a chance to build my skills, particularly with hardware,” Nick shared. His technical foundation, combined with a natural curiosity for how things work, made him a perfect fit for our team.
What made SENPOS stand out when you first applied?
“I was drawn to the variety of work I’d be involved with,” Nick explained. “It wasn’t just technical, it also involved problem-solving and working with customers, which was a little different from my previous experiences.” This blend of challenges appealed to Nick and is something he continues to enjoy as he develops his skills further.
What are some of the good things about working with SENPOS?
Nick didn’t hesitate when asked what he enjoys most about his role: “Being part of a like-minded team has been great. Everyone was very welcoming and supportive when I started, and I continue to learn a lot from them. Getting the chance to travel to different sites to see customers keeps the work engaging and hands-on, which I enjoy. Seeing how the POS technology continues to evolve and being able to further my knowledge is another positive aspect too”, he said.
Whether it be Nick or another member of our team, SENPOS Support can help your venue gain confidence using SENPOS via training, answering questions and guiding you through new features, plus much more.
