Exciting renovations have been happening at East Maitland Bowling Club (the Bowling Club) and Easts Leisure and Golf clubhouse (the Golf Clubhouse), two venues comprising ‘Easts’ based in the NSW Hunter Valley. SENPOS have been a point-of-sale (POS) provider for both venues for several years, with Richard Worgan working with Clubs CEO, Steve Duggan and Golf Clubhouse Club Manager, Scott Driffield.
We are pleased to see the revamp occurring at the Clubs, which have a long history as a destination for dining, lawn bowls and championship 18-hole golf course that celebrates its 125-year history in 2024.
The significant renovation will also include a SENPOS upgrade across both venues, enabling the Clubs to enhance the member experience whilst growing alongside the vibrant Maitland Region.
Milestone new renovations
A fresh, modern renovation can attract new customers while retaining loyal patrons, positioning a venue for long-term success and customer satisfaction.
Major developments have also taken place at the Golf Clubhouse, with key highlight three indoor-outdoor terraces to delight patrons with views of the lush fairways. The clever indoor-outdoor design makes the space versatile for dining and events, which will be a valuable selling point year-round.
Continuing the exciting changes, the Bowling Club recently announced it has lodged a new Development Application for a new outdoor area offering ample seating, outdoor screens and contemporary landscaping. This development follows earlier renovations which included two new restaurants, Bunga Raya and Wildflame Barbecue & Bar, as well as a fresh new viewing lounge with wide format screens, to name a few.
Fresh new point-of-sale technology
Renovations provide the opportunity to optimise operations and update technology, making the venue more competitive in a fast-evolving market. One way this is achieved is through a POS refresh to ensure your venue has the latest technology for delivering great customer service, engaging with members, promotions and reporting. The Bowling Club and Golf Clubhouse are benefitting from 14 new SENPOS terminals throughout food and beverage service areas, as well as in the golf pro-shop.
Also planned is the onboarding of handheld POS device SENPOS GO, which will help staff provide fast mobile customer service with built-in EFTPOS payments throughout the venue including outdoors and event for events. Additionally, they will also welcome online ordering platform OrderToGoas another touchpoint for convenient service via QR Code ordering.
While a POS system is important to delivering good front-of-house service fast, how it integrates with the back-of-house is key to maximising operational efficiencies and engaging with customers. With a powerful back-of-house system designed specifically for the industry and integrations with several other solutions offer venues seamless control and transparency. Whether it’s helping manage stock control, create promotions, engage with members, in-depth reporting, and more, an all-in-one system like SENPOS provides all the management tools in one place.
We look forward to seeing the completed expansions which are sure to delight members and visitors alike.
