Park Beach Bowling Club is known for its popular bowling green and unique beachside location. For four years they have delighted the community by hosting the Phoenix Pairs bowls tournament, and this month unveil a new outdoor dining and function space.

The Phoenix Pairs Bowls tournament combines friendly competition with a keen interest in lawn bowls. In 2023, we were a proud sponsor of the Phoenix Pairs Bowls tournament, which has grown immensely over the last few years.

For Emma Foster, who is part of the marketing and administration team, the Club is proud to see the growth that has happened with the tournament and looks forward to seeing it expand even more next year. Alongside receiving support from customers and the local community, the tournament is also supported by local clubs and other clubs across Australia.

At the Club, service is a top priority, and the bowling green is an important part of the experience, not only during the Phoenix Pairs tournament. An important part of the Park Beach Bowls Club team is greenkeeper Dave Hall, who is described to be ‘outstanding’ at maintaining exceptional greens for anyone who visits.

We recently refreshed our SENPOS point-of-sale hardware ahead of the unveiling of the Club’s new outdoor dining and function space. Boasting a newly fitted out modern kitchen, customers can expect to see a new breakfast and lunch menu available from 6 am through to 2:30 pm, plus “Sunday Sessions” featuring an afternoon menu and acoustic music between 1 pm and 5 pm – catching the peak times customers enjoy dining.

The space will also be utilised as a function area catering for small groups of 10 up to larger groups of 100. “The Chef team will be working very hard in providing menus that are meaningful, delicious to eat but reasonably priced. We are very excited to provide such a facility to the Park Beach area and invite everyone to make the most of such a modern, outdoor space that can be used for various family groups and community organisations for private functions”, says Emma Foster.

Whether it’s dining or celebrating an occasion, the space invites customers to take in the prime location and proximity to the beach. With the warmer weather on its way, we look forward to seeing the space become a popular destination for the community.
