Following a recent POS refresh and the installation of the latest SENPOS Kitchen Displays, Account Manager Richard Worgan and Implementations Team Leader Shay Adams visited Club CEO Mark Stanborough and the team to see the technology upgrade in action. They also had the opportunity to experience the vibrant, recently reopened Steakhouse, headed by Chef Greg Peate.

Partnering with SENPOS

For several years, Wallsend Diggers has partnered with SENPOS as its preferred point-of-sale (POS) provider and continues to work closely with our team to enrich their POS experience. The Club initially chose SENPOS for a variety of reasons previously reported by Mark, including real-time updates, seamless backups, and the flexibility to push changes across all terminals. Through this latest upgrade, the Club continues to build on a system that supports both front and back-of-house operations.

Transitioning to SENPOS Kitchen Displays

Wallsend Diggers has recently introduced new SENPOS Kitchen Displays into their popular Steakhouse dining outlet, bringing a fresh wave of efficiency to their operations. Moving to digital displays is a smart step for the Club, especially with the Steakhouse’s separate grill and cold prep areas. The real-time status updates provided by the system help keep kitchen stations aligned, with multiple preparation status views allowing staff to track orders as they move between stations. The new Kitchen Displays also feature an easy-to-read docket view with colour-coded alerts, an all-day count sidebar to monitor specials and stock levels, and a group pass function to ensure full orders are delivered together – all working together to deliver a smoother service experience for customers.

The SENPOS Support Team plays a vital role in ensuring seamless installations, offering expert advice and ongoing support. In collaboration with Shay, Mark, Greg, and their staff, the Support Team facilitated a smooth hardware upgrade, providing guidance and training to ensure the team was confident in using the new system. This support helped staff quickly learn and implement new features, with the added reassurance that expert assistance was always available for troubleshooting.
