Well, what a year it’s been, as we entered a new life dominated by a virus that caused a pandemic none of us saw coming! We are now approaching 9 months of disrupted trade and uncertainty but here at SENPOS, we have taken the opportunity to not only review our operations but we have worked consistently to adapt our offerings to help support venues operating within the boundaries of this new normal.
During shutdown, we engaged with a number of venues to gain an understanding of what the new normal would look like for them, allowing us to focus on key areas for development. A stand-out was the need for online ordering that would enable contactless self-ordering, pick-ups and takeaway and in the long-term, would provide venues with an opportunity to engage with a generation of adept smartphone users. Adding to this, we had to consider the needs of venues with multiple food outlets, membership reward programs and requisite reporting.
The result: Our team of developers and technicians worked around-the-clock to create a mobile ordering platform, Order-to-go, that ticked all the boxes. Now implemented at a number of clubs including Twin Towns, Collegians, Epping Club, Canada Bay Club, Hoppers Club, Oatley RSL and Riverside Theatre, we have many more on the list for 2021.
Our Members Insights Module continues to be a game-changer for data-driven decision-making with many enjoying the benefits of having the additional data at their fingertips. This intelligent module delivers promotions based on data gathered around member demographics and POS activity, allowing insights into patron activity including food and beverage preferences, spending habits and dates and times visited. A great revenue spinner!
